John Galliano will never work for Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy(LVMH)

Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH, has announced that John Galliano will never work for LVMH again. I feel saddened to hear this news. For some of you readers, LVMH is a world leader in luxury, LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton possesses a unique portfolio of over 60 prestigious brands. Now, Bill Gaytten will take over the Galliano Company as Creative Director of the Brand. Gaytten has worked for Galliano and Dior for years, and presented Galliano’s men’s collection in Paris last week.

Bill Gaytten stepped out the shadows to take a bow at the finale of the first John Galliano Homme show since the celebrated British couturier's spectacular fall from grace in February.
"I've worked with John a long time," a bedenimed Gaytten, 51, who grew up in Oldham, near Manchester in the north of England, told reporters backstage.
"I first started (working with Galliano) when I was about 24, 25," he said. "We came to Paris together, we started at Galliano together, we started at Dior together."

In contrast to the ever-flamboyant Galliano, Gaytten -- a specialist in cutting -- sent out a remarkably more wearable collection on Friday, albeit with nods to his predecessor's sensibilities.
Building on a 1960s Swinging London theme, the show opened with military jackets with pilgrim hats, then moved into colourful David Hockney-esque outfits and a parade of underwear including candy-striped hipsters.

Surprisingly, the suits were probably the most business-friendly of any others seen since the spring-summer shows began on Wednesday in the French capital.
Asked to set out his vision for the lable, Gaytten replied: "I think keeping the cult of Galliano. It's always romantic, there's always a narrative -- and cool cutting, which is what I do."
He replied "yes, well, yes I have," when asked if he had been in touch with Galliano recently, but then refrained from saying more.

"One of the Boys", Julia Saner poses for Vogue Turkey, June 2011

I am just oh-so-loving this particular picture from Vogue Turkey June 2011. The Editorial is entitled
"One of the Boys"
Art director of the magazine Ahmet Polat has lensed beautiful model Julia Saner in the backdrop of wonderful Istanbul. Julia dons the designs of labels Jil Sander, Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana and others which are both elegant and colorful. The editorial has been styled by fashion editor Mary Fellowes and Julia poses in different location like a boxing ring, horse stable and others.
The next picture is also worth looking at and I do believe it totally tells a story too as much as the first one here.

Liu Wen in Chanel by Victor Demarchelier for Vogue China February 2011

Starring in a Chanel supplement for February edition of Vogue China, Liu Wen's elegance is personified in Victor Demarchelier’s regal portraits entitled, "Classics Re-presented." Wearing everything from sweeping gowns to tailored suits, Liu Wen stuns in the sophisticated stylings of Nicoletta Santoro.

Vogue Australia July 2011: A re-print of a Feb 2011 Vogue China editorial.

The first picture is from Vogue Australia july 2011 cover and the second picture is from Vogue China February 2011 editorial.
Gisele Bündchen was on the cover of Vogue China’s February 2011 issue, photographed by by Patrick Demarchelier looking soft and fresh faced with her long hair pulled back by a girlie bow clip in pieces from Prada’s Spring 2011 Collection.

Anna Jagodzinska for Vogue Turkey June 2011 by Mariano Vivanco.

Polish model Anna Jagodzinska is lensed for the cover of magazine Vogue Turkey, issue of June 2011 by noted photographer Mariano Vivanco. Lensed in a beautiful beach backdrop, the model flaunts a Roberto Cavalli snake print chiffon dress with lots of fringes. The look is relaxed but the pose of the model might seem a bit too common. Nevertheless, the dress and cover are absolutely stunning!

Gleeks' homage to "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

animated picture from http://www.fanpop.com/

One of my favorite scenes from GLEE is Kurt and Rachel's Breakfast at Tiffany's scene in the final episode of Glee Season 2. It just proves it perfect for me that Kurt is someone I truly can relate to when it comes to TV characters. I love the scene and gives me real joy in watching it.For me, Kurt (Chris Colfer)has more of the Hepburn material than Rachel in this scene.
Reminds me of my own sweet time watching the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" movie when Audrey Hepburn captured my imagination with her bittersweet acting skills! I so loved the movie and I still love it now. In fact, I watch it every now and then to get inspirations all over again!
In the picture below, we can see that Rachel wears this red and black sundress it looks like she may be having a Breakfast at Tiffany’s moment in New York with fellow Gleek Kurt. She’s paired the look with a short red cape, a simple ponytail, black shortie gloves and black (totally classic) heels. Is that also a black clutch I spy in her hand? God, this outfit is so chic! Wouldn’t you love to flounce and dance and twirl around in this dress? I know that I would. Milly Heidi Sundress from Saks Fifth Avenue

And this is my favorite scene from the movie: Holly Golightly with her long ciggarette holder:
