Coddington’s memoirs are in the works. She sold her Memoirs to Random House for 1.2 Million Dollars. The book will cover Coddington’s
early life in Wales, her modeling days in the Sixties in London, the
car accident that changed her career path and her ascendancy through
fashion’s ranks as a stylist and editor at British Vogue and later at
American Vogue. Hopefully a few behind-the-scenes drama will be
included too! Coddington is collaborating with men Vogue’s Editor in
Chief Jay Fielden.Coddington became a British Vogue editor in 1969, before traveling
to NYC in 1987 to become a design director at Calvin Klein, to then
join American Vogue in 1988.
