Here is twenty six year old Russian model Sasha Pivovarova looking gorgeous as she models hats for the Fall/Winter collection from Maison Michel.Parisian-based Maison Michel has been perfecting the art of headwear since 1936. Founded by French milliner Auguste Michel, the atelier is now owned by Chanel and is widely admired for its exploration of shapes and materials. Having designed haute couture accoutrements for illustrious fashion houses like Givenchy and Lanvin, the first ready-to-wear line was launched in 2006 under the creative leadership of Chanel accessories and jewelry designer, Laetitia Crahay.

Daphne Guinness will be staging her own exhibit at the FIT Museum come September 16 2011. The Daphne Guinness FIT Museum Exhibit is co-curated by her and it features over 100 fashion items from her personal collection which include Gareth Pugh, Alexander McQueen, Philip Treacy, Shaun Leane (armor jewelry), Tom Ford, Azzedine Alaîa, Chanel, Christian Lacroix to name a few and also clothes designed by Daphne Guinness herself as well as shoes only Daphne Guinness can walk in. Chanel creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, takes to a photo booth for the fashion house’s fall 2011 campaign starring Freja Beha Erichsen. Styled by former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief, Carine Roitfeld, Freja dresses as a cat and dons an interesting choice of makeup in these off-kilter images.
