AVANT GARDE FASHION SHOW @ MILLENIUM ROOFTOP

Pic by Drew Ralte

AND SO IT HAPPENED! IT WAS A COLD EVENING ON THE 4TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 2011 AT MILLENNIUM CENTER ROOFTOP, AIZAWL MIZORAM WHEN THE STUDENTS OF MAMAWII HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL AND ZEMABAWK HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL DISPLAYED THEIR TALENT IN ART AND FASHION PRODUCED BY SCERT.

WHAT I HAD SO LOVED ABOUT THE SHOW WAS AND STILL IS THE ARTISTIC SENSIBILITY THAT LIES THERE AS A PART AND PARCEL OF UPCOMING STUDENTS AND YOUNG TALENTED PEOPLE.

WHEN THE HOST MENTIONED A QUOTE BY MY FAVORITE FASHION DESIGNER COCO CHANEL, IT STRIKE ME IN A WAY THAT I FELT SO NOT CONNECTED TO THE PRESENT CONDITIONS OF MY STATE'S FASHION INDUSTRY. BUT THE COLLECTION THAT DID FOLLOW THAT QUOTATION WAS INDEED AN INTERESTING OBSERVATION ABOUT DRESS CUTTING. "ABSTRACT" WAS THE TITLE OF THAT ROUND AND THE CLOTHES WERE INDEED WONDERFULLY CUT AND WELL-CRAFTED.

Drew Ralte's darker side of life in a melodramatic way!

There is a boy (A man to be exact) who loves nature (added my own assumptions). His photography is as quiet as his personality (As far as my perception of his personality goes) and his concepts seem to lead their ways toward freedom from conventional norms. This time, however, for the first time, here on my blog, I feel deeply photographically voguish to have the permission from the said man above to feature two of his beautiful pictures that are (for me at least) quite dramatically and darkly (yet graciously) Romanticized. The aspect of dark Romanticism in these two photographs has taken me by surprise from the first time I laid my eyes upon their vommitting beauty.
