Lunglen Magazine has yet again re-invented its cover picture as shown below... I love the fact that the dress looks so CHAOTIC yet so sensuous in its own right. I salute Ruata and Tluangpuii for the work that they had put in styling this shoot. The make-up and hair stylist, Taboiha, has also shown himself to be a true artist indeed--working his way up the model (his canvas) from chaotic ruffles to simple yet elegant make-up and hair style. This September cover looks really Chic with Computerised Embroidery supposedly coming out of their comfort zone to showcase their workmanship in creating clothes. Everyone was complaining about their Sunday LOOKS that has become their signature style. What I love about this cover is the hair and the dress both of which compliment each other so well. Dina of Dingrafix has yet again perfected his concept of photography in this issue. He seems to become more and more in tune with what he is doing.And of course the make-up artist Taboiha Fanai, a very close friend of mine, has done one heck of a job doing what he is best at. CONGRATS to Lunglen Team...

I love the August Cover for Lunglen Magazine for its sensual feeling in a very moody manner. The expression on the model's face is just so beautiful and secretive that one might mistaken it for a look of sadness. Dina of www.dinagrafix.com is to be praised for capturing such an important moment in the model's movement of expression. The dress comes from Computerised Embroidery (as always) and it looks beautiful on the model. The make-up artist, Taboiha, deserves a round of applause for creating an ambience of sensuality and not overdoing it to the extreme. The Fashion Stylist, Ruata (finished his design from WLC, Delhi) is also worthy of mentioning for he has done a remarkably good job in his styling.

The July Issue of Lunglen Magazine has come out later than usual due to some technical problems and sadly for me, my articles for my column "Goosh's Corner" has not been featured due to the same problems. However, August will bring me my birthday and yes, a new article to be printed on the pages of Lunglen Magazine.

My friend Taboiha Fanai is not to be under-estimated, for he can be a real artist when it comes to make-up artistry and hair-styling. And the same goes out for Dina, for Dinagrafix, who has become such a well-known photographer here in our beloved State, Mizoram. Dina has indeed changed the scene of photography and revolutionize its connotations to a whole new level. The Magazine Editor, Sangzuala Hmar, is not to be forgotten whenever this magazine is being mentioned. He has spared no pains in discharging his duties as an editor of a magazine that is really hard to administer and take care of. Here is the Jan-Feb Lunglen Magazine Cover:

My Favorite Lunglen Magazine Covers!

This was from the Issue December 2009. I was the Fashion Stylist. Model is Zodini, a friend of mine and the make-up artist was Taboiha Fanai, my close friend. Wardrobe by Sangboihi, a fashion designer from Aizawl.

From Jan & Feb 2009. The model is Rosie, sister to Zodini from the first photo. The make-up and Hair stylist was Hlutea.

From July 2009, the model is Tinie Mohini Thapa from Aizawl. She is a singer and she was a contestant in Indian Idol 2009. An old classmate of mine from St. Paul's Higher Secondary School, she can be very sweet and funny. Make-up Artist is Hlutea. The shoot took place in Hlutea's "Hair and Beauty Salon" at Bazar Bungkawn in Aizawl, Mizoram.

From August 2010, the model is Ruati from Education Department in Mizoram University. The make-up artist was Taboiha. Wardobe by Computerised Embroidery, Aizawl.

From September 2008, the model is Irene from Aizawl. Make-up by Hlutea. Wardrobe by Sangboihi.

From October 2008. The model is Vewy, a Beautician/make-up artist from Aizawl. She has got her own salon "Vewy's Beauty Concept" in Zarkawt, Aizawl. The Make-up Artist is Hlutea, who has also got his own Beauty shop in Bazar Bungkawn, Aizawl. Wardrobe by Sangboihi.

From November 2009. The model is Ruby from Doordarshan Aizawl. Make up by Hlutea. Wardrobe by Muanpuii Chinzah.

From May 2008. The model is Velosa from Aizawl. Make-up by Hlutea.

From March 2011. Make-up by Taboiha Fanai. Wardrobe by Computerised Embroidery.

This was the first anniversary Issue on August 2008. The model is Maggie from Aizawl, a Gospel Singer. The make-up and Hair Stylist is Hlutea. Wardrobe by Sangboihi.
