MIZO FASHION REVOLUTIONIZED AT PALIAN INCHAI @ AIZAWL LAMMUAL

PIC BY SANGZUALA PACHUAU.

I WAS NOT THERE BUT.... MIZO PHOTOGRAPHERS HAD BEEN THERE AND DONE ALL OF THESE SHOOTS... I LOVE HOW THEY CREATE IMAGES LIKE THESE THROUGH THEIR LENSES. I BELIEVE THAT IT SHOWS THEIR TALENTS IN THE FIELD OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND AT THE SAME TIME, NOT LOSING THEIR IDENTITY AS MIZOs. "INBUAN" HAS BEEN A PART AND PARCEL OF MIZO CULTURE SINCE OLDEN Days AND WHEN "ZAWLBUK" WAS THE PLACE TO BE, IT WAS A SPORT THAT YOUNG MEN COULD RELATE TO IN CONNECTION TO THEIR WORTH AS A MAN AND AS A HUMAN BEING. TODAY, AT A.R. LAMMUAL, AIZAWL, MIZO PEOPLE HAVE WITNESSED YET AGAIN THE PRICELESS EXPERIENCE OF A MIZO SPORT CALLED "INBUAN" AND I DO HOPE THIS SPORT WILL NOT END AS LONG AS THE MIZO RACE IS EXISTING AS A PART OF OUR CULTURE AND AS A PART OF HUMAN CULTURE IN GENERAL.

THE PATTERN AS SEEN IN THESE CLOTHES DEFINE THE MIZO CULTURE AS COLORFULLY BRILLIANT AND CONFIDENTLY VERSATILE AS SEEN FROM HOW THE MIZO DRESS PATTERNS ARE WOVEN OR STITCHED AS WAISTCOATS AND MINI-SKIRTS WHICH ARE YET CONTRIBUTED BY THE WESTERN THOUGHT PROCESSES...

THIS COAT REMINDS ME OF THE MINIMALISTIC APPROACH THAT COCO CHANEL HAD IN HER MIND AS A PART OF HER FASHION CONCIOUSNESS. THIS COAT HAS ITS ESSENCE AS A MIZO CULTURE YET NOT LOSING ITS CONTEMPORANEITY IN THE WORLD OF FASHION.... YVES SAINT LAURENT WOULD HAVE .... MMMMMM MUST HAVE DROOLED OVER THIS COAT IF HE HAD LIVED TO SEE IT...
